25^th Annual Pleasure Island Seafood, Blues & Jazz Festival

“The Year of the Woman”

The Pleasure Island Seafood, Blues & Jazz Festival is normally held in the fall but last year Hurricane Florence changed those traditional plans.  Not to be kept down the event was not c cancelled but rescheduled for this spring.  The event will be held at the Ft. Fisher Air Force Recreation Area in Kure Beach.  A beautiful venue next to the Cape Fear River.  Enjoy awesome sunset views while listening to cool jazz.

The Legend continues…Over two Decades of Seafood Blues & Jazz at the Beach! This silver anniversary festivals theme is “The Year of the Woman”.  featuring International Blues Recording Artist Ana Popovic,  Grammy-nominated Danielle Nicole (winner of Blues Blast Magazine’s 2018 Best Contemporary Blues Album) and the Allman Brothers’ inspired Artist – the incredible Heather Gillis Band.

Other banks include Ladies Auxiliary, Justin Cody Fox, Jamie Trollinger Bank, Polar Bear Blues Bank, Jake Haldenvang, The Wolfe Gang, Rose Lucas & Free Movement, Benny Hill Trio, Feebs, The Rhythm Bones and Carl Newton’s Jazzy Review.  Two stages and two days full of music, food and fun!

Music is the only attraction! Enjoy browsing at the Arts & Wine Garden, shopping for crafts, listening to music, and fine wine tasting. Children will stay entertained for hours as they enjoy    performers, face painting, educational exhibits, inflatables and much more in the Kidz Zone.

This event is sure to sell out quickly, so purchase your tickets ahead of time. Please do not bring coolers or pets, but bring your chairs, towels and blankets for a weekend of music and seafood at the coast.
